In May 2008 Skyform was employed by Perth and Kinross Council to carry out bridge strengthening works to two 50 foot long bridges located in the Aberfeldy area of Perthshire. One of the difficulties faced was that the bridges were located over 50 miles from the nearest town, with the area being so remote there was no communication available other than via satellite phone as there was no mobile phone reception. This also led to difficulties in getting materials delivered and all tasks had to be co-ordinated in advance. Despite the host of challenges the contract was completed in late 2008 successfully with positive feedback received from Halcrow the Engineers, on dealing with this difficult contract.
